A police officer has died after a stabbing assault in Brussels on Thursday evening, Belgian police mentioned in a tweet.
“A police patrol was attacked by an individual with a knife. Different policemen got here as backup and use their weapons to shoot the attacker as to manage the individual,” a spokesperson of the North Brussels police power informed CNN by e mail.
“The injured had been delivered to the hospital. The primary investigative duties are ongoing,” the spokesperson added.
