A police officer has been injured after being struck on the M25 as Simply Cease Oil protests proceed.
The officer, who was driving a police motorbike, was concerned in a rolling roadblock after reviews of an individual being on the highway.
In the course of the roadblock, between junctions 26 for Loughton and 27 for the M11, there was a collision between two lorries and the officer.
Essex Police mentioned the officer had not been severely injured.
One individual has been arrested on suspicion of inflicting a public nuisance.

For my part British local weather protestors are inflicting lethal hazard by means of their reckless endangerment of others.
I completely assist the proper of local weather protestors to stage a public protest, to current their case, even when I feel they’re a joke. A free society tolerates regulation abiding clowns.
However these local weather protestors should not nicely behaved, they’re going nicely past easy public speech. Their reckless disruptive techniques are placing folks at risk, in methods which for my part have already precipitated deaths, and which probably simply contributed to the damage of a police officer.
The earlier these hooligans are taken off the streets and locked up with lengthy jail sentences, the higher.
