Digital studying continues for JPS as a consequence of water points

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – All Jackson Public Colleges (JPS) will proceed with digital studying as a consequence of little or no water stress on Friday, January 6.

JPS leaders stated 22 faculties had little to no water stress on Thursday. Though fewer faculties are immediately impacted, JPS has continued to see fluctuations in stress throughout faculties.

They stated the choice to proceed digital studying can be as a result of menace of freezing temperatures in a single day on Thursday and potential water most important breaks.

Breakfast and lunch shall be obtainable at every faculty from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Friday.

JPS leaders stated in-person studying could resume on Monday, January 9. They stated they’ll present updates on Saturday and Sunday relating to the plan for Monday.
