There’s nothing like waking up on a Friday to a model new, sparkly blue trash can sitting on the finish of your driveway. Santa has come early this 12 months for North Little Rock residents who’ve been receiving new trash cans from the town this week freed from cost. This can be a welcome addition to these of us who’ve been getting by with puny, Nineteen Eighties-era Sears trash cans that fall over and dump trash in all places on the slightest nudge of your automobile bumper.

The brand new 96-gallon rubbish containers shall be picked up with new automated side-loading sanitation vehicles for all single-family North Little Rock residents.

The town won’t be utilizing the brand new containers till the week of Dec. 12. The trash cans must be positioned on a flat floor, near the road a minimum of 3 ft away from different containers, utility poles, automobiles, mailboxes, fuel meters, and so on …
Residents can maintain their previous cans for storage or place on the curb the week of Dece. 12 labeled “please take away,” and the town will decide up your previous can.
A flyer delivered to residents by the town mentioned that the brand new automated loading vehicles won’t end in lay offs for North Little Rock sanitation employees who shall be helping the brand new vehicles and accumulating particles all through the town.
