Jonesboro airport to obtain $5 million in federal support to increase runway

Town of Jonesboro will obtain a $5 million grant from the U.S. Division of Transportation for an extension of the Jonesboro airport runway, Mayor Harold Copenhaver stated.

Copenhaver and different metropolis officers labored with U.S. Sen. John Boozman, R-Ark., and his workplace to safe funding for the runway extension.
