Joe Biden Wednesday night delivered remarks on the tenth annual Nationwide Vigil for All Victims of Gun Violence at a church in DC.
Biden renewed his name for the federal authorities to ban so-called ‘assault weapons.’
Biden mentioned it’s “commonsense” to ban assault weapons and ban high-capacity magazines.
“Bear in mind, within the 90s we did it,” Biden mentioned.

“Scripture says, ‘The sunshine shines in darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it,’” Biden mentioned. “All of you right here tonight, you’re the mild. You might be actually the sunshine. And your family members, and your folks, they’re the sunshine.”
“What number of of you ask your self, ‘What would my son or daughter need me to do at this second?’” Biden mentioned. “They’re in your coronary heart, they’re a part of you, they’re all the time going to be with you.”
“We ask God,” Biden mentioned, “give us the energy to complete the work left undone, and on behalf of the lives we’ve misplaced and all of the lives we will save.”
