The upcoming Paramount+ sequence Deadly Attraction—starring Lizzy Caplan, Joshua Jackson and Amanda Peet—will drop its first two episodes April 30, the streamer introduced Jan. 9.
Deadly Attraction is described by Paramount+ as “a deep-dive reimagining” of the traditional 1987 thriller starring Glenn Shut, Michael Douglas and Anne Archer within the roles now performed by Caplan, Jackson and Peet, respectively.
“The brand new sequence will discover deadly attraction and the timeless themes of marriage and infidelity,” the streamer says, “by way of the lens of recent attitudes towards sturdy girls, persona problems and coercive management.”
Alexandra Cunningham, who beforehand labored with Peet on Soiled John: The Betty Broderick Story, acts as showrunner and author.
