A number of spectators had a fortunate escape on Friday as robust winds introduced three bushes crashing down through the second spherical of the 87th Masters.
Officers confirmed that no accidents had been reported following the terrifying incident close to the seventeenth tee at Augusta Nationwide.
“The protection and well-being of everybody attending the Masters event will all the time be the highest precedence of the membership,” a press release learn.

The incident occurred as play was suspended for the second time.
No additional play was attainable and the second spherical was scheduled to renew at 0800 native time on Saturday.
Eyewitness Megan Hill informed the Augusta Chronicle: “I used to be sitting, wanting, ready for the subsequent group to return as much as the tee and it fell possibly eight to 10 chairs to our left.
“I stood up and screamed and thought, ‘Is it going to fall on me?’ It fell to the left of us and it was so scary. If the wind had been blowing a barely completely different path, we would have gotten hit.”
One other spectator, Deshey Thomas, added: “Pinecones have been hitting us within the again, we rotated and regarded up and heard an enormous cracking noise and the tree mainly crushed 10 chairs that have been sitting there.
“Fortunately we bought everybody out of there. We have been blessed.”
